I was feeling lazy and wanted something dark and sparkly for a short term mani so I chose this Kleancolor polish. This is 2 or 3 thin coats of polish. This is not the best polish but it still looks good in the bottle unlike some of my other Kleancolors. Tip for applying – keep an eye on the big glitter and if your nails are natural and flex and give at all try not to place any near the tips. Also try to cover the hexes with another layer of polish plus a heavy top coat to keep them on.
pros
- cheap! this polish retails for as little as $1.75/bottle through Beauty Biz.
- sparkly! It has large and medium holographic hex glitter and silver micro glitter in a black jelly base. It looks great for the price.
cons
- stinky! this polish has a strong odd smell that you can smell even through Seche Vite.
- jelly texture formula can be hard to paint. I don’t consider it to be a flawed formula necessarily but it can be hard to paint on. You can’t go too slowly and may need a tool like a toothpick to move the glitter around.
