I did succumb to some of the hoopla of the Jason Wu for Target launch. I stayed up way late and managed to order the only two must have pieces for me: the cat tote and the cat scarf. Overall I’m very happy with them and don’t feel like the price was too much as I love the cat designs on both pieces.
The cat tote is very thoughtfully designed but a bit cheaply made. I already see a spot where I should fix some loose stitches. The tote features a magnetic closure at the top, slip pockets on one side and a zip pocket on the other side. It also has a small Jason Wu for target logo tag on the side and flat brass feet.
I’m also happy with my kitty scarf. Though some have described it as scratchy I don’t find the texture to be a problem. At $20 this polyester is not a bad substitution for silk chiffon. It’s also large enough at 20″ x 20″ to tie in many different ways.
A clost up to show how sheer the scarf is.

A comparison of the texture of the cat scarf and a silk chiffon scarf. The silk has a smoother slippier feel.
